Welcome to Splitsy ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Splitsy mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

1.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

1.2 License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

1.3 Restrictions: You agree not to:

- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.

- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App or any content provided through the App.

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.

- Use the App to transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems or networks.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Account Creation: To use certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date.

2.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

We collect personal information that you provide to us when you register for the App or use our services. This information may include:

4. Digital Analytics and Advertising

4.1 Analytics: We use digital analytics software for tracking purposes to understand how our users interact with the App and to improve our services.

4.2 Advertising: The App shows ads to users. We do not use Facebook Pixel or retargeting for advertising purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Social Media Logins: You can log into the App using social media providers such as Google and Apple.

5.2 Payments: We accept online payments, including one-time and recurring payments.

6. No Refund Policy

All payments made through the App are non-refundable. By making a payment, you acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to a refund.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Ownership: We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the App and its content, including all intellectual property rights. You do not acquire any ownership rights by using the App.

8.2 Trademarks: Splitsy and our logos, product names, and service names are our trademarks. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Disclaimers: The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
